For example, what do I wear at Dayspring?

It varies widely. Some do the tie and suit thing and some do Bermudas and a shirt. Our lead pastor usually dresses business casual, but will go a bit under or over that on occasion. You choose your own wardrobe. What you wear is not important to us. Getting connected and growing in your faith is what is of importance! Our people are used to guests and you should be treated in a manner that let’s you know we are really glad you are with us. But, even as a guest, feel free to introduce yourself to others and get their names, because an increasing number of our people are also fairly new to Dayspring.

What about my (our) kids? Where do they go when we arrive?

We have infant, toddler and preschool nurseries that are well staffed so that you can enjoy your worship experience worry free. Our entire early childhood & Dayspring Kids’ volunteers have undergone a security background check prior to beginning service with your child(ren). The Early Childhood (birth—3 yrs) nurseries are to the right side of the worship center down the slightly angled hallway on the right side of the lobby. Children 4 years through 5th grade have their own action packed worship hour in the DW Kidzone…down the secured hallway to right of the lobby as you enter. Just follow the cool colors and flashing lights that lead into our Kidzone! We have 2 worship hours. The first one beginning at 9:15 am and the second one beginning at 10:45 am. Both hours offer care and programs for all children. Please plan to check your child(ren) into the nurseries or the DW Kidzone prior to the beginning of the service. The worship center is straight ahead past the lobby with entrance ways just to the left and right of the lobby

What about the worship experience? What is it like?

Our goal is to achieve a fairly high energy, strong input effort on our part. Various blends of contemporary and classic music are used. We try to keep our worshippers exposed to opportunities for prayer, communion, scripture, music, fellowship and teaching that is clearly tied to the Bible with life application. We inject enough variety that you should never be able to sleep walk through worship. However, when it comes to the final impact of worship, we believe that it is less about “How did we do?” as presenters, and more about “How did I do?” as a worshipper.
